The Wolverines took it to game 7 and prevailed against the Spruce Grove Saints in the North Division Semi-Finals. With a big game 7 win the Wolverines will now face the Fort McMurray Oil Barons in the North Division Finals, making it the teams second visit to the North Finals in franchise histroy.
The two teams will start the best of 7 series on Friday, March 31 @ 7:30 in Fort McMurray, the same night as the Okotoks Oilers and Brooks Bandits start their series in Brooks for the South Division Finals. The winners of the North and South will then play a best of seven series for the Championship and the AJHL Gasdrive Cup.
The Wolverines want to thank all of our fans that have supported us in our Play Off journey so far this season! The atmosphere has been electric and we want to keep that momentum going for the boys!!!
