The Wolverines are proud to announce that Wolverines Forwards, Joseph Nardi and Justin Young have been named to the 2016/17 AJHL All-League Team. As well, Forward, Cody Laskosky, was named to the 2016/17 AJHL All-Rookie Team.
Nardi had 53 points (18 Goals, 35 Assists) in regular season play and has 15 points (3 Goals, 12 Assists) so far in the post season. Nardi was also named to the Junior A Challenge Canada West team for the past two seasons and was named an Assistant Captain for the 2016/17 team. Nardi is committed to Northern Michigan University for the 2017/18 season.
Young had 69 points (26 Goals, 43 Assists) in regular season play and has 12 points (7 Goals, 9 Assists) so far in the post season. Young was named to the 2016 CJHL Top Prospects roster and played on the Team West in Surrey, BC on January 26, 2016. and is committed to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks for the 2017/18 season.
Laskosky had 37 points (12 Goals, 25 Assists) in regular season play and has 1 Assist so far in the post season. Laskoksy was named to the 2017 CJHL Top Prospects roster and played on the Team West in Conrwall, Ontario on January 25, 2017.
