The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have added 06′ Goaltender Jesse Sanche for the upcoming season.
The 6’1″ netminder from Kamloops, BC, spent last season between the WHL, BCHL and short stint in the MAJHL with Summerside.
Over the course of four seasons in the WHL split between Kamloops, Everett and Penticton Jesse, played in 73 WHL games posting a record of 30 wins 30 losses and 4 overtime losses.
“With no goalies coming back we had a need for a seasoned veteran starting goalie and I feel that adding Jesse will continue the good run we have had here of starting goalies following Elliot (Pratt), Zac (Onyskiw) and Ben (Charette).” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Jesse had this to stay on becoming a Wolverine “I am incredibly honored and excited for the opportunity to play in Whitecourt. I am looking forward to meeting the team, the community and getting to work this season.”
The Whitecourt Wolverines and fans would like to welcome Jesse and his family to Whitecourt.
Any questions can be directed to Shawn Martin Head Coach/GM.
