The Whitecourt Wolverines are excited to announce the hiring of Tim Yaworski as an Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
A product of Sherwood Park, ALTA,, Yaworski, has called Whitecourt home for the past five years.
He brings playing experience, having spent four seasons in the AJHL with the Sherwood Park Crusaders and St. Albert Saints, before continuing his career with the Grant MacEwan Griffins formally of the ACAC.
Tim has proudly served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for the past 20 years, working in several communities across Alberta. He has been stationed in Whitecourt for the past five years, where he and his family have become active members of the community.
Tim had this to say “I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Wolverines and look forward to helping develop this group of players, while being part of a team that receives such great support from the community and ownership.”
“We have been trying to add a local area coach for a couple of years and luckily Tim reached out this off season. Tim will add a different dynamic to our group along with a level of support that is needed.” Stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin
