The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club is pleased to announce that they have added Alex Dominique (01) for the upcoming season. Last season the Mississauga, Ontario product put up 30 points in 52 games for the New Mexico Ice Wolves in the North American Hockey League.
Having such a successful season with an expansion team allowed him to be recognized as a member of the All-South Division Rookie Team. Prior to his time in New Mexico, he played with the highly respected North Jersey Avalanche Program.
“Adding Alex is very important for our club, it’s not often that you can add a 19-year-old that led their respective junior team in scoring as a rookie. His skating and quickness will fit very well with our pace of play,” stated Head/GM Shawn Martin.
Alex had this to say about becoming a Wolverine “I would like to thank Mr. Bush and Coach Martin for giving me the opportunity to come to play for this elite program. I am excited to contribute to the success of the Wolverines this season”.
