The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club is pleased to announce that they have acquired Forward Chase Broda (02) from the Kemptville 73’s of the CCHL. The New Hamburg, Ontario native put up an impressive 30 points, including 16 goals as a 17-year-old rookie last year. Prior to that, Chase led his Midget AAA team in scoring with over a point per game.
“Chase was a trade target fairly early in the offseason as we feel he can become a very good AJHL player; he had a very good year in a good league last season,” stated Head/GM, Shawn Martin.
Chase had this to say about joining the Wolverines in 2020-21. “I’m excited to get the season going and am looking forward to seeing the community.”
