The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2008 Forward Tristan Slywka has signed an LOI with the hockey club. The Sherwood Park, AB, product spent the 2024-2025 season with the Sherwood Park Kings U18AAA program, where he led the team in goals (14) and finished 2nd in points (35) in 34 games. Tristan also played 6 games with the Wolverines this past season as an affiliate player.
Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin had this to say about the addition, “Tristan has steadily improved since attending our main camp last fall. He has a great frame and skates well which was very evident in the games he played with us as an affiliate. I cannot wait to see him in a Wolverines jersey.”
Slywka on what it means to join the Wolverines “I’m thankful to have the opportunity to be a Wolverine. Playing in games this past season showed me what a great organization it is from the coaches to the players and of course the fans. I am very excited for next season and am looking forward to representing the Whitecourt community.”
