Wolverines netminder Zac Onyskiw continues to pile up the accolades of an impressive season, now nominated for the MVP of the CJHL. Onyskiw was previously nominated for the Goaltender of the Year in the CJHL and joins Matthew Kieper (SJHL) as the only other goalie nominated in the category.
Zac is the first Wolverine to be nominated for MVP of the CJHL.
The 4-year AJHL netminder put up a record setting season for Whitecourt being the first goaltender to take home MVP honours in the AJHL in the last 10 seasons. Onyskiw also set the new record for SV% by a goaltender with a .939 this past season to go with a 1.87 GAA.
Committed to MacEwan University next year also picked up the Goaltender of the year and top team goaltenders honours.
