Wolverines place 9th in Latest CJHL rankings

In the CJHL’s latest rankings the Whitecourt Wolverines take home the 9th spot in the country.

 

Whitecourt has won back-to-back games and sit a top of the AJHL Standings with a 9-2-0 record. The Wolverines also lead the AJHL with a +25 goal differential (next closest is Canmore at +5) after their first 9 games and are the last team unbeaten on the road this season.

 

Paving the way is Captain Jalen Bianchet who has 14 goals and 22 points through his first 11 games, leading both categories in the AJHL.

 

This weekend they welcome the defending CJHL Champions, the Calgary Canucks who earned a Honourable Mention on this weeks standings and the Olds Grizzlys who Whitecourt defeated 4-1 in their only meeting.
