The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that the Edmonton Oil Kings of the (WHL) have reassigned Matt Williams (08) to the hockey club.
The Leduc, ALTA, product has played in 2 games this season with the Oil Kings. The 6’2″ 190 lb winger played last season with the Leduc U18 AAA Oil Kings where he compiled 32 points in 38 games.
“Matt is a big body that skates well and we feel he will have a smooth transition with fitting in with our style of play.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
