The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have acquired Christiano Aiello (01) from the Calgary Canucks of the AJHL.
The Calgary, Alberta product has produced 30 points in 63 AJHL games. The 6’1 200 lb power forward played his midget hockey with the Calgary Flames where his last season in the AEHL he compiled 28 points in 32 games including 14 goals.
“We recently just lost a veteran forward so it was important to fill that void and we believe Christiano does that, we have had some success the last couple of years bringing south division players north and we are thinking that this will be another success.” stated Head Coach/GMs Shawn Martin.
Going the other way was rookie defenceman Warren Marcotte (03). The Whitecourt Wolverines wish Warren the best of luck in his future endeavours.
