Hello Fans, Sponsors and Supporters of the Whitecourt Wolverines.
It is with great excitement to announce that we have acquired the Whitecourt Wolverines franchise in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. It is an honour to be apart of the AJHL.
We share a passion for hockey, for developing athletes, and for supporting great communities like Whitecourt. We both have strong hockey acumen and a desire to build on something great! The Wolverines have been a franchise under the successful ownership of Brent and Tracy Stark, and we look forward to continuing their mission. It comes with an immense amount of pride to be involved with something that has been run successfully for a long time, the team means a great deal to this community, and we intend to continue to build on that.
Under the strong leadership of Coach Shawn Martin, along with the great staff, players, sponsors, and fans we are eager to kick off the season!
We are also very appreciative of the efforts of Mayor, Town council, and the countless volunteers who have done a tremendous job of supporting the Whitecourt Wolverines Franchise. We will continue to operate the team out of its home, Scott Safety Arena. We are also looking forward to continuing the relationship and supporting Whitecourt Minor Hockey. We have a plan and we can’t wait to get started!
