The Whitecourt Wolverines are excited to announce the coaching staff for the upcoming season.
Garry Childerhose ? Associate Coach
Garry has spent the past five seasons in the SJHL, where he was an Assistant Coach with the Flin Flon Bombers. Prior to his time in the SJHL, he completed a degree in Business Communications at the University of New York Geneseo, also being a member of their college hockey program for four years. Along with his coaching duties, Garry was very involved in helping secure over 17 NCAA Division 1 commitments with his time in Flin Flon. ?We had a great group of candidates to choose from this season with Devin stepping aside, it was a hard decision but Garry has a ton of experience at this level and I feel that his skill set will compliment our staff nicely.? Darcy Charrois ? Assistant Coach
Darcy is a Whitecourt resident that has been an Assistant Coach with the Wolverines previously and will continue in that role focusing on our strength and conditioning as well as coordinating our recruiting. ?Darcy has become a big part of our program, and we are extremely pleased that he is going to continue with us this season.? Jamie McCaig ? Goalie Coach
Jamie is coming into his 2nd season as Goalie Coach with the Wolverines. Jamie is also Co-Owner of Above the Crease goaltending. ?If you look at the job Jamie did with Vinny and Connor it shows what he can bring to the program, we are very excited to have him back with us.?
