The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that the team has added 2003 born center Josh Medernach to the roster. The Lloydminster, ALTA, product played last season with the Winnipeg Ice of the Western Hockey League compiling 8 points in 46 games playing for the Eastern Conference Champions. Prior to his time in the WHL Josh played for OHA Edmonton where he put up 41 points in 32 games his last season with the program.
“Josh is a player that can add size and skill to our lineup, he went on a big run with Winnipeg and gained valuable post season experience that can help us come playoff time.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Josh had this to say about joining the Wolverines “I am happy to be in Whitecourt and am looking forward for the season to get started.”
