The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have added Goaltender Lukas Renaud (04). The Montreal, Quebec product spent last season with the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL playing in 29 games. The 6’2″ goalie played his U18AAA year with the Chicago Mission program.
“We have been talking to Lukas for the past couple of years and are very excited when he has decided to join us. In my time in Whitecourt the best goaltending we have had is when we have gone with tandems like Grimard/Ironside or Duplessis/Ungar.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Lukas had this to say about joining the Wolverines “I am excited to be in Whitecourt and am looking forward to joining and contributing to the winning culture here.”
