Whitecourt- As part of a trade completed with the Melfort Mustangs (SJHL) this past December, the Whitecourt Wolverines Junior ?A? Hockey Club is pleased to announce the acquisition of Alex Rondeau (99) from Drummondville, Que. This past season in the SJHL the 6?2 defenseman had 21 points in 58 games to go along with 118 PIM. Prior to his time in Saskatchewan Alex suited up for the highly regarded Pomfret Hockey Academy where he tallied 26 points in 53 games.
?Alex plays a very physical game and also has the ability to get the puck moving up the ice quickly, I believe the Wolverines fans will enjoy how Alex plays the game? stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
