Wolverines Add Forward Hunter Motley

The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2005-born forward Hunter Motley has signed a Letter of Intent with the hockey club.

The 6’1″ right shot forward from Czar, ALTA, has played the last two seasons with the Lloydminster U18AAA Bobcats. Last season Hunter put up 22 points and added another 5 points in the post-season leading his team in playoff scoring. Hunter will be familiar to Wolverines fans as he suited up 3 times with the club as an affiliate player last season.

“Hunter is a big power forward that plays a heavy game, with the time he spent around our club last season it showed his character immensely and we cannot wait to see his competitive spirit in the lineup.” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.

Hunter had this to add about his commitment “I’m very excited for this opportunity from Shawn and the Wolverines organization, after being able to spend time with the team last year, it was a clear choice as a fit for my game. I cannot wait to play and develop with such a competitive organization”

The Whitecourt Wolverines and their fans would like to welcome Hunter and his family to the organization. Any questions can be directed to Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin
