The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2007-born forward Matthew Sarabando, Toronto, ON, has committed to the team for the 2025-26 season.
The left shot forward played last year with the Toronto Titans U18 AAA team of the GTHL. Last season he compiled 51 points in 36 games. He also added 9 points in 9 playoff games for the Titans.
“Matthew is skilled, dynamic and a proven point producer.” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.
Matthew added “I am excited to join the Whitecourt Wolverines for next season. It’s an awesome feeling to join such a respected organization with a strong culture and fan base. I’m looking forward to working hard, growing as a player and doing everything I can to help the team succeed. I cannot wait to get started.”
