The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2004-born forward Dwayne Jean of Sherwood Park, ALTA, has committed to the team for the 2021-22 season.
Dwayne is coming off a 2019-20 season where he compiled 35 points in 35 games leading the OHA Elite 15 yr. old team in scoring. Currently this season playing for the CAC Canadiens U18AAA team he is 2nd on team scoring with 9 points in 6 games, playing on a line with fellow Wolverines commit Ryan Duguay.
“We have been keeping an eye on Dwayne for quite some time, he is going to be a powerful player and will fit in with our style of play” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.
“I would like to thank the Whitecourt Wolverines for recruiting me into their program. I look forward to being a pivotal player for this organization and I truly appreciate this opportunity” stated Dwayne.
