The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that Defenceman Matthew Ronn 05′ has committed to the club for the upcoming season. The 6’0” blueliner from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, split time last season between the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL and the Regina Pat Canadiens of the SMAAAHL. Matthew compiled 24 points in 46 games with both teams.
Head Coach Shawn Martin had this to say, “Matthew has good offensive instincts but also is conscience of taking care of his own end. His experience in the SJHL last season should help with his adjustment to our league.”
Matthew added “I am excited to join the Wolverines, the goal is to bring a championship to the Whitecourt fans and to become a part of the community.”
