Coming off of a double win against the Lloydminster Bobcats last weekend, the Whitecourt Wolverines were able to move up one spot in the Pointstreak CJHL Top 20 Weekly Standings. The Wolverines now sit at number 15 in the Top 20 Weekly standings. The Canadian Junior Hockey League is made up of 121 teams and 10 leagues across Canada. This is the fourth straight week that the Wolverines have held a spot in the Top 20 National Rankings. Not only were the Wolverines able to climb up in the National standings, they were also able to climb the North Division AJHL standings to third place and are within 1 point of second place.

The Wolverines have three games left before the Christmas break. The first game will take place Tuesday, Dec 15th @ 7:30 PM against the Spruce Grove Saints in Whitecourt and they'll end the season off with a roadtrip to Grande Prairie to play two games against the Storm on Friday, Dec 18th and Saturday, Dec 19th. The Wolverines will look to jump into second place for the first time in 2015 to end out the year on a high note.
