The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have added Ryan Tong (04). From Burnaby, BC, Ryan played in 37 games for the Langley Riverman of the BCHL. Prior to his time in the BCHL he played in the PIJHL where he put up 47 points in 41 games.
“We did a lot of homework when we added Ryan and had a lot of positive feedback, he also made it known that he had a desire to join our program which always helps.” stated Head/GM Shawn Martin.
Ryan had this to say about joining the Wolverines “I’m excited to be joining the Whitecourt Wolverines and helping the team have a great season and compete for a championship. I want to come in and make an impact every time I step on the ice.”
