The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2005-born forward Jalen Bianchet has committed to the team for the 2023-24 season. A native of Pickering, ONT, Jalen played the last 2 seasons with the Ajax Pickering Panthers that play in the ETAHL U18 AAA League. This past season Jalen finished 2nd in league scoring with 52 points in 35 games.
“Jalen skates well and can finish. He had over 2 points per game in the playoffs last year which tells us he can step up at the hard times.” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.
“I would like to thank the Whitecourt organization for giving me this great opportunity. I chose Whitecourt because I was impressed with their development program, which will better my game and hopefully take my career to the next level. I am excited to get over to Whitecourt and get things going.“ stated Jalen.
