The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2007 Forward Ty Rayan has committed to join the hockey club. The Sherwood Park, AB, product played last season with the AEHL U18AAA League Finalist, Sherwood Park Kings. Last season Ty was 2nd on his team in points where he compiled 45 points in 38 games and was 2nd in the entire AEHL in assists with 35 assists. He also added 13 points in 13 playoff games which had him 5th within the AEHL.
Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin had this to say “Ty has a very high hockey IQ and after watching him in the playoffs this year he has the qualities to be a very good player for our club, we are beyond excited to add him to an already strong forward group.”
Ty had this to add “I am excited to join the Whitecourt organization and look forward to starting my junior career with the Wolverines.”
The Wolverines organization would like to welcome Ty and his family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
