The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2003 Forward Evan Forrest has signed a Letter of Intent with the hockey club. The Spruce Grove, Alberta, native plays with the St. Albert Midget AAA Raiders in the Alberta Midget Hockey League. Evan currently has 19 points in 27 games for the first-place Raiders. As an affiliate player with the Wolverines, he has played two games this season. Last season he was awarded the AMMHL Top Forward award, where he put up 62 points in 33 games.
Head Coach Shawn Martin had this to say, ?Evan has a ton of skill but also has a high hockey mind, and we feel he will be a very good Wolverine moving forward.?
The Wolverines organization wants to welcome Evan and his family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
