The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that we have added 2004 Defenceman Evan Johnson to the hockey team. The Trenton, MN, native has 5 points in 14 games with the North American Hockey League Team. Last season he played with the Pittsburgh Penguins U18 AAA elite program where he led all defenceman with 36 points in 55 games.
Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin had this to say, “With Eastyn going to the Oil Kings we had an opening on the blue line and watching Evan he skates well, competes hard and adds an offensive element to our back end.”
The Wolverines organization want to welcome Evan and his family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
