Wolverines Swing Deal with Drayton Valley

Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired 1999-born forward Mackenzie Harden from the Drayton Valley Thunder in exchange for 1998-born forward Alessio Luciani and 1999-born defenceman Jesse Pomeroy.

Harden is already in his third season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, over the past two seasons he has played in 93 games scoring 14 goals and adding 20 assists.  In 36 games last year he set career highs in goals (10), assists (11) and points (21).

The Leduc, Alberta native played his minor hockey in his hometown, during the 2014/2015 season he appeared in 35 games for the Leduc Oil Kings minor midget-AAA team scoring 20 goals and 45 points.

Friday’s game is Breast Cancer Awareness night, fans are asked to dress in pink and bring a bra to the game to be tossed on the ice following the Wolverines first goal, they will then be collected and sent to Edmonton to be hung across the High-Level Bridge for Bras Across the Bridge.
