The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired Kyle Venneman (03) from the Olds Grizzlys of the AJHL. Kyle has complied 15 points this season in 29 games leading the Grizzlys in defenseman scoring. From Olds, Kyle brings 118 games of AJHL experience.
“When the opportunity came to acquire Kyle, we jumped at it. It is no secret that we lost a lot of experience on the blueline from last season and Kyle will bring a quick aggressive nature to our back end.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Leaving the team and going to Olds is defenceman Ryan Tong (04). “Ryan has been a great teammate, and we wish him all the best with the opportunity that lays ahead for him in Olds”. Adds Martin
