The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2004-born forward Ilia Chmelevski has committed to the team for the 2022-23 season.
The 5’10” left shot forward from Northville, Michigan, split last season playing for the Niagara Ice Dogs in the OHL and the Welland Jr. Canadians of the GOJHL. Combined Ilia put up 10 points in 30 games.
“We are excited to bring in a young player like Ilia in, having a 04 born player that has major junior experience is always a bonus.” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.
