The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club is pleased to announce that they have acquired Sebastian Labora (01) from the St. Michaels Buzzers of the OJHL. The Toronto, Ontario product has started over 60 games in his young career and will be looking to continue his success in his first AJHL season. Last season Sebastian also had the accolades of being 1 of 4 goalies chosen to attend the Canada East Selection Camp. “We have spent a good chunk of the offseason looking into goalies, because of Vinny going to the NCAA and Connor heading to the WHL.
“When the opportunity came up to bring in a quality goalie with the experience Sebastian already has, we jumped at it,” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
The newest Wolverine had this to say about joining his new team “I am very excited to be a part of the Whitecourt Wolverines. I am looking forward to settling into town, meeting all my new teammates, fans and being able to work with Shawn and Jamie on and off the ice.”
