The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior ?A? Hockey Club are pleased to announce that Sean Tschigerl (03) has been loaned to the team from the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL. The Whitecourt resident completed his 1st year with the Hitmen last year and was just named a C level Prospect by NHL Central Scouting.
The 2nd Whitecourt product added to the team is Krz Plummer (02). The Vancouver Giants of the WHL are loaning him to the Wolverines after he also completed his first season with them.
?Both these young men reached out instantly to join their hometown team; they are just as excited to join us as we are to have them? stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Owner Brent Stark had this to add ?This team is here for the Town of Whitecourt and we have an obligation to develop our local players. I know both these local young men have been away from Whitecourt for a long time and we are pleased to give them the opportunity to come home and develop further?.
