The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce the addition of Brad Granley to the team’s coaching staff as an assistant coach.
Granley, a Whitecourt native, brings a wealth of knowledge to the position having played Junior ‘A’ hockey from 1994-1998 with the Lebret Eagles (SJHL), Kindersley Klippers (SJHL) and South Surrey Eagles (BCHL).
In 1998 Granley and the South Surrey Eagles won the RBC Cup going undefeated in the tournament. Granley was named second star in the championship game.
Granley’s hockey career has taken him across Canada and as far as Sweden. Since finishing his junior hockey-playing career, Granley returned to Whitecourt and for the past 10 years has been coaching within Whitecourt Minor Hockey. He has also served two executive terms with Whitecourt Minor Hockey.
The Whitecourt Wolverines are excited to have Brad join the hockey program and have no doubt that he will be a valuable asset to the coaching staff.
