Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired 1997-born forward Michael Spenrath and future considerations from the La Ronge Ice Wolves (SJHL) for 1997-born goaltender Aaron Mackay and 1998-born forward Brayden Dunn.
The Calgary, Alberta native Spenrath has spent the last two seasons in the AJHL playing for the Calgary Canucks. In eight games this season he has scored one goal and added three assists.
He is a product of the Calgary Royals Midget AAA program where during the 2014/2015 season he appeared in 33 games scoring six goals and 13 assists.
The Wolverines would like to thank Aaron and Brayden for their contributions both on and off the ice while members of the organization and wish them best of luck Ling forward.
The Wolverines are next in action Tonight in Canmore at 7pm. The next home game is Friday, October 21st against the Calgary Canucks.
