Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired 1999-born defenseman Andrew Liwiski and future considerations from the Melfort Mustangs in exchange for defenceman Jake Hobson.
Liwiski is from Dauphin, Manitoba. In the 2017-2018 season Liwiski played 50 games for the Lloydminster Bobcats, scoring 2 goals and 4 assists, then moved to Melfort over the off-season. Liwiski is a former Parkland Ranger in the Manitoba AAA hockey league, where in the 2016 /2017 season tallied 43 points in 42 games.
