Wolverines Trade defenseman with Bonnyville Pontiacs

Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired 1999-born defenseman Adam Sandstrom and future considerations from Bonnyville Pontiacs in exchange for 1998-born defenceman Matthew Monk and future considerations. 

From Red Deer, Alberta, the 6’3” defenseman is in his second season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Adam Sandstrom has played 78 games for the Bonnyville Pontiacs for a combined total of 7 goals and 27 assists. Before joining the Pontiacs in 2017-2018, Sandstrom played for Red Deer Chiefs Midget AAA.
