The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club have moved Xavier Lacoste (05) to the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL for a Player Development Fee.
The Ste-Julie, QC, product played in 89 games for the Wolverines over the last 2 seasons.
“With the new import rules it had us a little hamstrung and also Xavier had a desire to play his last season with his brother closer to home so it kind of worked out for both parties.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
