Wolverines Making Moves in the Off Season

Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired 1997-born goaltender Aaron Mackay from the Elliot Lake Wildcats (NOJHL) for future considerations.

Mackay is a native of Millarville, Alberta, playing his minor hockey in Okotoks and later on in Banff at their hockey academy before heading east to begin his Jr. ‘A’ career last season.

Last year, Mackay appeared in 32 games with the Wildcats compiling a record of 21-5-1 with a 2.27 goals against average, a .922 save percentage and 2 shutouts.   He finished the regular season ranked in the top 3 of all major goaltending statistical categories in the NOJHL.

The entire Wolverines organization is thrilled to welcome Aaron to our community this fall.
