The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have committed 6’2″ goalie Maxime Giguère (07) to the hockey club. The Laguna, California product played 14 games last season with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U18 AAA program. He compiled a 2.06 GAA to go along with a .924 SV%.
“Maxime will add to our recent past of excellent AJHL goalies, he is a big goalie that we have been watching for a while. We are excited to add him to the team this upcoming year.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Max had this to say about his decision “I’m honoured to be given this great opportunity to be surrounded by talented players, an experienced coaching staff, and a passionate fanbase. I’m excited to put in the work, day in and day out with my future teammates to make Whitecourt proud.”
