The Whitecourt Wolverines claimed the Webberville Aggregate Cup at the North Peace Junior A Challenge over Labour Day Weekend in Peace River with victories Saturday vs. the Bonnyville Pontiacs (4-1) and Sunday vs. the Grande Prairie Storm (5-3). The Wolverines would like to thank the organizers of the North Peace Junior A Challenge for their hospitality during the team's stay in Peace River. The Wolverines will now reduce their roster down to 25 players ahead of their regular season opening game Friday, September 6 (7:00 pm) at the Scott Safety Centre vs. the Sherwood Park Crusaders.
