Wolverines Aquire Two ’97 Born Defensemen

The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have traded D-Man Taylor Lileikis to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL in exchange for D-Man Josh Bishop and future considerations. Josh Bishop (Strathmore, AB) is 18 years old and is in his first full Alberta Junior Hockey League year. Josh played Midget AAA with the UFA Bisons out of Strathmore, AB. Josh and the Bisons played in the 2015 Telus Cup Midget AAA Tournament.


The Wolverines have also traded Forward Ryan Rebelato to the Camrose Kodiaks of the AJHL in exchange for Defenseman Stephen Wack (St. Albert). Stephen Wack, who is in his 2nd AJHL season, is 18 years old and will add some size to the Wolverines d-core. Until now Wack had played all of his AJHL games with the Camrose Kodiaks. Wack played his Midget AAA year with the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers.
