Starting in the 2024/25 season the Wolverines will have a new leader at the helm. Whitecourt local business owners Cory and Terriann Masse have completed their purchase of the Wolverines.
Cory had this to say about his new team “I am thrilled to announce the acquisition of the Whitecourt Wolverines, a proud member of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). This marks an exciting new chapter for the team, the fans, and the entire Whitecourt community.”
Cory adds “Our number one goal is to get a banner hung up in our arena and entertain our community, I am looking forward to being part of this program and growing its success.”
Under new ownership, the focus will be on enhancing the team’s performance on the ice and ensuring an unforgettable experience for our dedicated fans. The Whitecourt Wolverines are more than just a hockey team; they are a vital part of the community’s spirit and pride.
Together, we will strive for excellence, celebrate our victories, and work tirelessly towards bringing a championship banner to Whitecourt. The future is bright for the Wolverines, and we can’t wait to embark on this journey with our loyal supporters.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we prepare for the upcoming season. Let’s make this a memorable and successful era for the Whitecourt Wolverines!
