The Whitecourt Wolverines are excited to announce the hiring of Bryson Traptow as Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.

Bryson (Traptow) is a former Whitecourt Wolverine that played 2 and a half years in the program compiling exactly 100 points in 118 games. While in Whitecourt he secured a scholarship to play Division 1 hockey at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) and earned a Business Admin degree in his 4 years there.

Bryson had this to say about joining the Hockey Club

“I am thrilled to return to the town that impacted me tremendously during my junior career both as a person and as a player. Whitecourt has always been a special place for me and I could not be more determined to help push this team to the next level.”

HC/GM Shawn Martin had this to say about the hire

“Bryson checks off a lot of the boxes we put out there when we started our search. He is young, ambitious, and is an alumnus of this program. We are excited to be able to give him his start in coaching junior hockey.”
