The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior ?A? Hockey Club are pleased to announce that the following players have been chosen to lead the hockey team for this season. Bryce Osepchuk has been named the captain and Kaleb Ergang, Sam Anderson, Ethan Green and Ethan Leyer have been named assistants.
There is no substitution for expiernece when it comes to Junior ?A? hockey and this group has combined for over 700 games in the CJHL.
Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin had this to say about the group that was assembled,
?With such a veteran laden group in front of us this year it was a difficult decision to only pick these guys as players with something sewn on their jersey as there were many great options. One interesting point on all these players is that they have all been acquired from other Junior ?A? programs which I believe speaks to their ability to adapt and desire to become part of the Wolverine culture that has been built here.?
