Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines have signed 1997-born forward Spencer Bast.
Bast, a product of Macklin, Saskatchewan, joins the team after spending parts of the last three seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Kamloops Blazers and Moose Jaw Warriors.
In 113 career games in the WHL he scored 13 goals and added 16 assists. This past season he set new career highs with 9 goals and 17 points in 60 games.
Prior to beginning his junior hockey career, Bast played his midget-AAA hockey with the Battlefords Stars where in three seasons he appeared in 119 games putting up 69 goals and 70 assists.
