The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2007-born defenceman Justus Chyld has committed to the team for the 2025-26 season.
The 6’2″ defenceman played the last 2 seasons for the Fraser Valley Thunder Birds U18 AAA program. During that time Justus compiled 11 points and 64 penalty minutes.
“We haven’t seen a lot of big or right shot on the blueline the last couple of seasons, so we are excited to add Justus to the fold. He knows what type of player he is, and we see great value in that.” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.
Justus added “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to play in Whitecourt. I’m excited to work with the coaching staff and contribute to the teams future success.”
