The Whitecourt Wolverines have added a new member to their Hockey Operations group in Stéphane Lagassé.

The St-Adolphe, MB, native is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Athletic Therapy program at the University of Winnipeg and a former NCAA Baseball player for Bemedji State.

“Steph came through our hiring process with flying colors, and I believe he will be a great fit within our program.” stated Head Coach and GM Shawn Martin.

Steph had this to say about joining the Wolverines this season, “this is an exciting step in my career. I am grateful for this opportunity and am eager to bring my passion for athletic therapy, player care and team success to the organization. I want to build relationships with the players and staff as well as the Whitecourt community so that the athletes can perform at their best every day.”

The Whitecourt Wolverines would also like to thank outgoing Athletic Therapist Tyler Jones for his 3 years with the hockey club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
