The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that the Portland Winterhawks of the (WHL) have reassigned Cohen Massey (06) to the hockey club. The Cloverdale, British Columbia product has played in 6 games with the Winterhawks this season.
The blueliner played last season with the White Rock Whalers of the PIJHL where he compiled 32 points in 31 games.
“Cohen skates well, plays physical and can move the puck. We are excited to help aid in his development moving forward.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
The Whitecourt Wolverines and fans would like to welcome Cohen and his family to Whitecourt. In a corresponding move the Whitecourt Wolverines have moved Brenden Thomas to the Olds Grizzlies. We would like to thank Brenden for his time in Whitecourt and wish him the best of luck with the Grizzlies.
