Whitecourt- The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired Cassidy Bowes (99) from the Penticton Vees in the BCHL. Cassidy has compiled 57 points up in 95 games over the past two seasons in Penticton. From Sturgeon County, Cassidy has secured a college scholarship to the University of Michigan for the 2020/2021 season.
?When the opportunity came to acquire Cassidy we jumped at it, he is a complete 200-foot player that we expect to come in here and produce offensively and add leadership to our current group? stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Leaving the team will be Easton and Chase Haygarth who have been part of the team for the past two seasons. ?I cannot say enough about these two young men and their family; they have been very good Wolverines, and on a personal level, it was very tough to include them in this transaction. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.?
