Wolverines add Defenceman for 2021-2022 Season


The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2003-born defenceman Zack Morissette has committed to the team for the 2021-22 season.

 

The 6’1” defenceman is currently playing for the Bishops College Prep Team. Last season Zack put up 22 points in 50 games. Wolverines   Alumni Vincent Duplessis (Boston University) and Cedric Matte also came up within the Bishops Hockey program.

 

“Zack is coming to us from a great program at Bishops, we have been able to get some good players out of that program and we feel Zack will continue that trend” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.

 

“We have been watching Zack for a couple of years and we are very excited he chose Whitecourt to play his junior hockey”.added Martin

 

“I am very proud to join the Whitecourt Wolverines and excited to start this new chapter in my life with this great organization, can’t wait for what’s to come!” stated Zack about the commitment.
