The Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce 2007-born defenceman Lachlan Staniforth from Abbotsford, BC, has joined the team for this season.
The 6’0” defenceman played last season In the PJHL and played affiliate games with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL.
“Lachlan has a great skill set where he is a physically strong player and has very good mobility.” said Wolverines Head Coach and GM, Shawn Martin.
“We are very excited he chose Whitecourt to develop and we think he can follow Jacks and Cohens development path into the WHL.”
